HOUSTON – More than $200,000 is sought from a Harris County business over allegations a negligently maintained storage area caused injuries to an individual.

Jacquelyn Sterling Logan filed a complaint on Oct. 8 in the Harris County District Court against ABM Industries Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 9, 2017, she was employed by UT Physicians in Houston and was injured at defendant's storage area when multiple boxes fell on her. She alleges she sustained injuries resulting in severe pain, discomfort, disfigurement, loss of earnings and medical expenses as a result.

The plaintiff holds ABM Industries Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to take reasonable precautions, negligently maintained the area and failed to give notice of the existing danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which plaintiff may be justly entitled. She is represented by Michael S. Tilton of Tilton & Tilton LLP in Houston.
