HOUSTON – A Houston couple alleges a landlord has failed to maintain a property near theirs.

Ronald R. Bruno and Annette Bruno-Smith filed a complaint on Oct. 9 in the Harris County District Court against Richard Pfirman, individually and doing business as All American Properties, alleging interference with residential property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs reside at a Winfield Road, Houston property and that the defendant has endangered their home with excessive weeds, grass and rubbish at a neighboring property. They allege the defendant has failed to cure the violation notices provided to him by the city of Houston.

The plaintiffs hold Pfirman responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to upkeep the vacant property and failed to maintain the exterior of the property in a good living condition.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other and further relief to which they are entitled. They are represented by Wayman L. Prince of Law Offices of Wayman L. Prince in Houston.
