Chiyoda International alleged to have failed to pay settlement, breached contract

HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges his employer failed to pay an agreed-upon amount to settle discrimination allegations.

Taha Mohamed filed a complaint on Oct. 23, in the Harris County District Court against Chiyoda International Corp. alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 3, he agreed to accept the defendant's offer of $25,000 to settle his employment law claim. 

The plaintiff holds Chiyoda International Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the settlement amount and breached the contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, attorney's fees, costs, interest and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Terrence B. Robinson and Laura A. Hernandez of The Robinson Law Group PLLC in Houston.
