Znub No. 5 patron alleges employee struck her with door

HOUSTON – A Harris County resident alleges she was injured at a shopping mall when she was struck by a door.

Pierre Marte filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the Harris County District Court against Znub No. 5 LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Aug, 30, she was injured at defendant's Houston premises when its employee flung the door open and hit her. She alleges the force from the door caused her to fall backward and hit her back and head. . 

The plaintiff holds Znub No. 5 LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the premises and failed to supervise the offending employee to ensure he/she was handling merchandise in a proper manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and all other relief that that the court may deem justly appropriate. He is represented by Mohammad Abdel-Rahman of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
