GALVESTON – The buyer of a Bacliff home alleges defects in its construction have caused mold issues.
Carli Darnell filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the Galveston County District Court against Greeneco Builders LLC alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in July 2017, she purchased a home that was built by the defendant in Bacliff. She alleges construction defects in the home have caused a severe, pervasive mold infestation that will require extensive remediation.
The plaintiff holds Greeneco Builders LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently constructed the home.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million. She is represented by Dax O. Faubus of The Faubus Firm in Houston.
