HOUSTON – A Harris County man accused in a late August state district lawsuit of sexually assaulting a female acquaintance in a Kemah hotel room denies the allegations against him.

Harris County District Court records show that Ryan Landry, of Seabrook, filed an original answer into Emma J. Gingerich’s suit against him late last month.

As previously reported in The Southeast Texas Record, Gingerich sued Landry on Aug. 31 in the Harris County 215th District Court over the incident which reportedly occurred on Feb. 9 earlier this year.

Landry’s response asserts that Gingerich’s allegations “are so general that the defendant does not have fair notice of the claim.”

The law firm Mitchell & Duff, LLC in Richmond is representing the defendant.
