HOUSTON – A federal lawsuit accusing a catering service of terminating a Dallas County woman for pushing back against sexual harassment was recently dismissed.

According to Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas records, U.S. District Judge Nancy F. Atlas ordered the dismissal of Amy Houston’s suit against Alonti Corp. last month.

As previously reported in The Southeast Texas Record, Houston sued her former employer last Aug. 22. She claimed that she was subjected to unwanted advances from her supervisor.

Court records indicate that the defendant did not respond to Houston’s allegations.
