GALVESTON – A Houston woman is alleged to have failed to pay a contractor for repairs to a Galveston home.

Westend Construction/Builders LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Zoe Buzbee alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 20, the defendant contracted it to perform repairs on a home in Galveston. To date, the amount of $40,505 allegedly remains due and owing to the plaintiff for the work.

The plaintiff holds Buzbee responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay for the repairs.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of $100,000 or less. She is represented by Robert E. Booth and Megan S. Jones of Mills Shirley LLP in Houston.
