HOUSTON – A Missouri man alleges he was injured in Harris County when a cabinet fell on him while unloading a truck.

Michael Garrett filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in the Harris County District Court against A/T Transportation LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 1, 2017, the plaintiff was working in Harris County as an invitee of the defendant and was unloading a truck. He alleges he was injured when a cabinet fell on him and that the cabinet had been improperly packed.

He alleges he sustained serious injuries to his leg, neck, back and other parts of the body as a result.

The plaintiff holds A/T Transportation LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition, failed to inspect the premises and failed to inform him of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus interest, costs and such other and further relief deemed just and equitable. He is represented by A. Clement Wehner of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
