HOUSTON – Two Harris County consumers allege a motorhome they purchased was not repaired, renovated or restored per an agreement.

Mark Courrege and Michelle Courrege filed a complaint on Dec. 31 in the Harris County District Court against Ron Hoover Cos. of Houston, et al. alleging that they violated the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Dec. 30, 2016, they purchased a new 2007 Dutchstar 4324 Class A Diesel from the defendants. The suit states the defendants represented that it was in good working condition and that any items not in working condition would be replaced or repaired.

The plaintiffs allege when they took delivery of the vehicle on Jan. 23, 2017, the generator did not work, storage compartment doors would not stay closed and other issues, so they took it back to the defendants for repairs.

The plaintiffs allege the vehicle was returned to the defendants multiple times for repairs and that the vehicle was defective when it was delivered to them.

The plaintiffs allege the defendants made material and false representations with the intent to induce them to execute the agreement.

The plaintiffs seek damages, attorney's fees and cost of court and interest. They are represented by Denise Adkinson-Brown of The Law Offices of Denise Adkinson-Brown PLLC in Houston and Jeremy K. Lee of Feldman Lee PLLC in Houston.
