HOUSTON – A cryotherapy session gone wrong has prompted a Harris County woman to pursue legal action.

In a lawsuit filed against Impact Cryotherapy, Inc.; iCryo, LLC; and Medeiros Acquisitions, LLC on Jan. 8 in the Harris County 80th District Court, Gina Williams states that she suffered burns to her feet during a visit to the defendants’ facility located at 4617 Montrose Blvd. on Jan. 24, 2017.

Williams attributes her injuries to the respondents’ purported failure to provide her protection for her extremities, adding that she did not receive assistance when she complained of pain during the session.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

She is represented by Patrick O’Hara of the O’Hara Law Firm in Houston.
