TYLER – The makers of Just for Men have been sued by a Smith County man who claims that he suffered a severe reaction to the product more than a year ago, recent Tyler Division of the Eastern District of Texas records show.

Raymond Pink initiated the product liability litigation on Feb. 12, listing Combe Inc.; Combe Products, Inc., Combe Laboratories, Inc., and Combe International, LLC as the parties responsible for his purported injuries.

According to Pink, Just for Men caused him to experience “swelling, itching, rash, stinging, irritation, oozing/weeping, sores/blisters, and burning.” The plaintiff reportedly required emergency medical treatment.

“The Just for Men® manufactured, designed, sold, distributed, supplied and/or placed in the stream of commerce by the defendants, was defective in its manufacture and construction when it left the hands of the defendants in that it deviated from product specifications posing a serious risk of injury,” Pink’s suit says.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by the law firm Watts Guerra, LLP in San Antonio.
