HOUSTON – A chiropractor who was sued by his medical assistant almost two months ago for alleged sexual assault has requested that the lawsuit be transferred from Harris County to Brazoria County.

Dr. Michael Khalil filed a motion to transfer venue into Dana De Los Santos’s suit on Mar. 1, asserting that De Los Santos intentionally deceived the court into believing that he lived in Harris County though the service address for him is located in Brazoria County.

As previously reported in The Southeast Texas Record, De Los Santos accuses Khalil of pressing his private parts against her during an examination.

The defendant formally countered the allegations with an original answer filed at the same time as his motion for a new venue.

He is represented by Christian G. Alba of The Alba Law Firm in Alvin.
