HOUSTON — Petro-Valve, Inc. is suing Menger Valve, LLC for what it asserts in a state district lawsuit was a misappropriation of trade secrets.

Recent Harris County District Court records show that Petro-Valve initiated legal action against Menger Valve and its proprietor, Marek Menger, on Mar. 6 in the 333rd District Court.

According to court filings, Menger Valve stole the plaintiff’s confidential trade secrets, including, but not limited to: customer lists, price lists, and parts lists.

“The plaintiff took efforts that are reasonable under the circumstances to maintain the secrecy of the information,” the suit says.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages.

It is represented by Patrick O’Hara of the O’Hara Law Firm in Houston.
