Guest alleges Motel 6's negligence caused her fall

HOUSTON — An Oklahoma woman is suing Motel 6, alleging she was caused to fall due to a faulty shower bench.

Rhonda Cayton of Tulsa filed a complaint March 7 in Harris County District Court against Forsight Investments Inc., individually, and doing business as Motel 6, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 11, 2017, Cayton was was at Motel 6, 22105 Katy Freeway, Houston. The suit states Cayton was in a Motel 6 room, and, due to no fault of her own, she was injured when the shower bench she was using failed and caused her to fall.

Cayton says she sustained physical pain and suffering and mental anguish.

Cayton seeks damages in the jurisdictional limits of the court, court costs, interest and all other appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney David H. Heller of Houston.
