Slip02

BEAUMONT – While returning a thing of milk, Jeanette Sullivan slipped on some milk in the milk aisle.

On April 2, she filed suit against Wal-Mart Stores of Texas in Jefferson County District Court, seeking up to $100,000 in damages.

According to the lawsuit, on Dec. 7, 2018, Sullivan was shopping at Walmart. While “returning milk” to its respective aisle, “she slipped in a puddle of milk on the floor causing her to fall to the ground.”

Sullivan asserts Walmart should have known about the dangerous condition and warned her of the danger.

She is suing for her past and future medical expenses, pain and mental anguish, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages.

Attorney David Tolin of the Daspit Law Firm represents her.

Judge Justin Sanderson, 60th District Court, represents her.

Case No. B-203621
