HOUSTON — A dialysis technician is suing his employer through a class action, alleging he and others were not paid the overtime wages they were owed.
Randy Humphrey, on behalf of himself and all other similarly situated, filed a complaint April 8 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Mobile Renal Care LLC, Humble Dialysis LP and Anthony Hanson, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, Humphrey was employed by the defendants from June 2013 to January 2019 as a technician at a dialysis clinic in Humble. The suit says the defendants regularly had Humphrey work more than 40 hours per week, but without the overtime compensation he was owed according to the FLSA.
Humphrey seeks trial by jury, overtime compensation for hours worked, attorney fees and court costs, plus all other equitable relief. He is represented by attorney Beatriz-Sosa Morris of Sosa-Morris Neuman in Houston.
