Worker alleges Baytown company's negligence led to injury

HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a Baytown business, alleging negligence caused his injuries at a work project.

Jeff Ellis filed a complaint May 22 in Harris County District Court against Duna Usa Inc., alleging liability and negligence.

According to the complaint. on May 26, 2017, Ellis was working for Duna Usa on a project at 4210 FM 1405, Baytown. Ellis says he was lifting and pushing heavy machinery by himself when he sustained debilitating injuries that led to pain and suffering, disfigurement and mental anguish. 

The plaintiff said he needed help with the task but Duna Usa failed to supply the extra manpower.

Ellis seeks trial by jury, damages between $100,000 and $200,000 and all other just relief. He is represented by Paul A. Higdon of Higdon Lawyers in Houston.
