BEAUMONT – The Ferguson Law Firm recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a man injured in an 18-wheeler collision.

Seeking more than $1 million in damages, Dale Bruno filed suit against Larry Alexander, Marlon Avila and Texas Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance on July 17 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on June 12, Bruno was traveling in Liberty County when suddenly and without warning Alexander failed to yield the right of way, turning when it was unsafe, and smashing into Bruno’s vehicle.

Alexander was employed by and driving an 18-wheeler owned by Avila at the time of the collision.

Bruno is suing for his medical expenses, pain, mental anguish, impairment and disfigurement.

Ferguson Law attorneys Cody Dishon and Charlotte Rogers represent him.

Judge Kent Walston, 58th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
