Whitewalls Express Car Wash accused of causing customer's fall

HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing a Crosby car wash, alleging she fell and was injured due to wet ground.

Gloria Nunez filed a complaint Aug. 20 in Harris County District Court against C-Squared Express Wash LLC, doing business as Whitewalls Express Car Wash, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 14, Nunez was at Whitewalls Express, 14480 FM Road 2100, Crosby. The suit alleges Nunez was vacuuming her vehicle when she slipped and fell on wet concrete and wet landscaping stones. 

The plaintiff says she sustained serious bodily injuries, pain and suffering, mental anguish and medical expenses due to the negligence of the defendant in failing to clean the premises.

Nunez seeks between $100,000 and $150,000 in monetary relief, interest, court costs, attorney fees and all just relief. She is is represented by attorneys David K. Mestemaker, Norman Straub and Jonathan B. Zumwalt of Mestemaker, Straub & Zumwalt in Houston.
