HOUSTON — An employee is suing a Baytown company, alleging he was terminated without cause and in violation of company policy.

Gary Thompson filed a complaint Aug. 26 in Harris County District Court against BBB Tank Services LLC, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Thompson was hired by BBB Tank on April 8, 2016 as a vice president who would report to the president. Thompson says he always fulfilled his duties and was paid an annual base salary of $175,000.

The suit states the plaintiff stopped receiving his salary April 8, 2019, despite his not having been notified that he was being terminated or him resigning. The plaintiff alleges BBB Tank has breached its contract and company policy through terminating him without notice.

Thompson seeks damages, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Mike Nawful of Looper Goodwine PC in Houston.
