HOUSTON — A Harris County musician is suing a Montgomery County media manager, alleging he was not given the services for which he paid.

Curtis Braly filed a complaint Sept. 5 in the Harris County District Court against Donna Wick individually, and doing business as DW Omnimedia, alleging breach of contract, deceptive trade practices, and civil theft.

According to the complaint, on March 28 , Braly entered into a contract with DW Omnimedia for marketing, media, public relations, and branch launch services for his new music project, "One Day." The plaintiff alleges he paid the defendant $9,000 for services for April through June 2019.

Wick allegedly had represented that she would provide success for Braly due to her past work and experiences. The plaintiff, however, the suit states, was lied to by the defendant. The lawsuit states DW Omnimedia pocketed the money and has not used it for Braly's project.

The plaintiff says his financial damages amount to $22,236.86.

Braly seeks up to $100,000, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all just relief. He is represented by attorney Malinda Edwards de Mata of Edwards de Mata Law in Waller.
