HOUSTON – A Houston doctor and his father are facing a suit filed by a Florida woman who was attacked by the doctor's dog and had her upper lip bitten while she was visiting the father's home.

Colleen Mullaney filed a complaint Dec. 16 in the Harris County District Court against Robert Feldman, MD and Martin Feldman alleging negligence.

Mullaney alleges she was a guest at Martin Feldman's home on Jan. 20, 2018, and was attacked by a labradoodle owned by his son, Robert Feldman. During the alleged attack, the dog bit Mullaney's face and tore off part of her lip, resulting in her undergoing grafts of her cheek, soft tissue augmentation, laser and other medical and cosmetic procedures.

Mullaney claims in her suit that the Feldman had knowledge that his dog has "volatile" behavior and was even treating the dog with Prozac.

Mullaney seeks monetary relief, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Leonard Gabbay of Leonard B. Gabbay PC in Austin and John Gsanger of The Ammons Law Firm in Houston.
