In a compelling legal battle unfolding in Harris County, Texas, a plaintiff has filed a lawsuit against two property management entities over an alleged slip-and-fall incident. Joseph Zakaria initiated the complaint on March 20, 2025, targeting 2500 TC Jester Property, LLC, and Boxer Property Management Corporation. The case sheds light on the responsibilities of property owners to maintain safe premises for their invitees.

According to the details outlined in the court filing, Joseph Zakaria was injured on February 4, 2025, while traversing a walkway connecting a parking garage to a building at 2500 East TC Jester Boulevard in Houston. The plaintiff claims that the walkway's low traction flooring material became hazardous when wet due to water from an adjacent sprinkler system and high humidity levels. Despite being aware of these conditions, Zakaria alleges that the defendants failed to provide adequate warnings or take measures to mitigate the risk. As stated in the petition, "Defendants’ failure to warn or make safe this dangerous condition was the direct and proximate cause of Plaintiff's injuries and damages."

Zakaria is seeking monetary relief exceeding $1 million for medical expenses, loss of earnings, physical pain, mental anguish, disfigurement, and impairment resulting from his injuries. He also demands pre-judgment and post-judgment interest at the highest legal rate. The lawsuit underscores the duty of care owed by property owners to ensure safety and highlights allegations of negligence against the defendants for not addressing known hazards.

The case is represented by attorneys Wisam Ghuneim and Julien Klink from Ghuneim Law Firm based in Pasadena, Texas. They have requested a jury trial for their client. The presiding judge over this matter is yet to be named as it progresses through Harris County's judicial system under Case ID: 2025-19002.
