HOUSTON — A Houston man is suing Mercedes-Benz alleging the defects with his A Class Mercedes are unrepairable.

Chad Bowersox filed a complaint  Jan. 29 in the Harris County District Court against Mercedes-Benz USA LLC alleging violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Bowersox leased a 2019 Mercedes-Benz A220W (A Class) from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services on Aug. 3 2019 for $31,250. The lease included a manufacturer, four year or 50, 000 mile warranty. He alleges that after taking possession of the car, he experienced defects with its electrical system that included intermittent illumination of airbag and check engine lights which after several repair attempts, could not be fixed.

Bowersox seeks monetary relief of $100,000 or less, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by John Barker of Krohn & Moss LTD in Chicago.
