HOUSTON —  A man is suing Baylor College of Medicine and one of its nurses alleging after kidney stone surgery, his bladder and prostate were damaged during post operative care.

Eric Munoz filed a complaint Jan. 30 in the Harris County District Court against CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center operating as Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center and others alleging negligence.

Munoz was admitted to Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center on Feb. 6, 2018 for the laser removal of kidney stones. He claims that during his post operative care, a nurse mistakenly and incorrectly pulled out his  urethra string that was attached to his stent and caused damage to his bladder and prostate. Munoz has required additional surgeries and continues to wear a catheter.

Munoz seeks monetary relief, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Gary Riebschlager of The Riebschlager Law Firm in Houston.
