Houston business claims woman drove her car into their wall causing nearly $100,000 in damage

HOUSTON — A Houston business is claiming the negligence of a woman who drove her car into one of their concrete walls and caused nearly $100,000 in damage. 

2520 Caroline LLC filed a complaint  Jan. 29 in the Harris County District Court against Guadalupe Evans alleging negligence. 

According to the complaint, Evans was driving her vehicle in the parking lot of 2520 in Houston. While trying to park Evans accelerated instead of hitting her brakes and drove into the plaintiff's concrete wall. The plaintiff claims the wall fell on their building and AC unit causing damages of more than $98,000. 

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief in excess of $98,000, interest and all other just relief. The plaintiff is represented by Bradford Irelan of Irelan McDaniel PLLC in Houston.
