Woman sues Houston Sports Center 59 after falling from rock-climbing wall

HOUSTON – A woman is suing Houston Sports Center 59, claiming it failed to properly instruct and supervise her while using the rock-climbing wall, which caused her to fall and suffer injuries. 

Feiga Fried filed a complaint Feb. 10 in the Harris County District Court against the Houston Sports Center 59 LLC, alleging negligence. 

Fried was using the rock-climbing wall at the complex on Feb. 11, 2018, hen she fell from the 35-foot wall and suffered injuries. Fried, a beginner rock climber, alleges Houston Sports Center failed to properly instruct her about attaching and using the harness correctly and failed to supervisor her during her activity. 

Fried seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Stephen Goldenzweig of Pines 7 Goldenzweig PLLC in Houston.
