HOUSTON — A former USA Patrol security guard claims he was terminated for no reason and is owed more than $40,000 in earned wages.

Abbas Khazel filed a complaint Feb. 19 in the Harris County District Court against USAPD LLC doing business as USA Patrol Division and Nisreen Samara alleging breach of contract.

Khazel began working as a security guard for USA Patrol on Jan. 15, 2019. According to the complaint, his employment agreement included a bi-weekly salary of $3,000 per month. Khazel alleges he was terminated on Aug. 1, 2019 for no reason and without being paid more than $40,000 in earned wages. He claims he has made several demands for the funds, however USA Patrol refuses to pay the wages.

Khazel seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $2 million, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Attorney Wakil Oyedemi in Sugar Land.
