HOUSTON — A Latino woman is claiming The Alliance for Multicultural Services discriminated against her due to her race.

Marien Tuder filed a complaint March 18 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against The Alliance for Multicultural Community Services doing business as The Alliance alleging race discrimination.

Tuder began working for The Alliance on Aug. 13, 2018 as a disaster case management supervisor. She alleges that her program director, An Phong Vo, gave her duties that were not equal to her fellow supervisors that were Vietnamese including being required to physically be at two separate offices and train employees while the co-workers were allowed to run their assigned offices electronically.

Tuder seeks monetary relief, trial by jury and all other appropriate relief.
