College of Mainland worker sues electrical company after being electrocuted by junction box

GALVESTON — A College of the Mainland worker who was electrocuted by an electrical junction box is claiming the negligence of the electrical company responsible for the box.

Gary Glover filed a complaint March 23 in the Galveston County District Court against Schneider Electric USA Inc., and Schneider Electric Systems USA Inc., alleging negligence. 

Glover was working at the College of the Mainland in Galveston County on Sept. 19, 2018. He alleges that he was electrocuted when he came into contact with an "in-ground electrical junction box" that received electricity from a new master electric center approved and commissioned by Schneider Electric. Glover alleges Schneider was negligent in its calibrating and setting the sensitivity of the breakers. 

Glover seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. He is represented by Muhammad Aziz of A
