Woman claims she tripped over box at Pasadena Kroger, suffered injuries

HOUSTON — A woman who tripped over a box at a Pasadena Kroger and suffered injuries is claiming the store's negligence. 

Pamala Lyons filed a complaint April 2 in the Harris County District Court against Kroger Texas LP and Kroger Store #337 Pasadena alleging negligence and premises liability. 

Lyons was shopping at the Kroger grocery on Red Bluff Road in Pasadena on May 11, 2018. She alleges that she tripped and fell over a box that had been left on the floor and suffered serious injuries. Lyons claims the store and its employees were negligent for allowing the dangerous condition to exist and for failing to warn customers. 

Lyons seeks monetary relief of less than $100,000, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by John Zaid, Joe Zaid and Ryan Bill of John K. Zaid & Associates in Houston.
