Woman sues Kroger claiming she slipped on grapes at Houston grocery

HOUSTON — A woman is suing Kroger Texas after allegedly suffering injuries when she slipped on grapes at their Houston store.

Diana Delgado filed a complaint March 31 in the Harris County District Court against Kroger Texas LP alleging negligence and premises liability. 

Delgado was shopping at the Kroger grocery on West 20th Street in Houston on Nov. 16, 2018. She alleges that while walking through the store, she slipped and fell on grapes that had been left on the floor. Delgado claims she suffered injuries and anxiety due to the fall and that Kroger failed to provide a reasonably safe premises. 

Delgado seeks monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Jordan Glaze, Josh Garrett and Greg Geddie of Glaze/Garrett in Gilmer.
