Texas man alleges Gulf Basin Recycling breached contract, owes him more than $150,000

HOUSTON — A Texas man is alleging Mississippi-based Gulf Basin Recycling failed to pay him for services he performed in breach of their contract. 

John Carnahan filed a complaint April 24 in Harris County District Court against Gulf Basin Petroleum Recycling Co., James Parrish and Ken Welch alleging breach of contract. 

Carnahan entered into an agreement with Gulf Basin Recycling that included Gulf Basin paying him $140 per hour for services he performed. He alleges Parrish and Welch failed to pay him per their agreement. Carnahan also claims Parrish and Welch made false promises to pay.

Carnahan seeks monetary relief of $151,687.94 plus $8,342.84 in interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Attorney Kenneth McConnico in Houston.
