$1M suit alleges man was shot 5 times at hotel

HOUSTON – A Louisiana man is alleging he was shot five times at a hotel.

Seeking more than $1 million in damages, Jason Robbins filed suit against Hospitality Headquarters and Landry’s Inc. on April 5 in Harris County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on May 24, 2020, Robbins was a guest at the Post Oak Hotel in Houston. While leaving the hotel at 5:30 am, he was shot five times.

The suit does not share any further details of the incident but does accuse the defendants of negligently failing to maintain a safe environment.

Johnson is suing for his mental anguish, impairment, disfigurement and loss of enjoyment of life.
