HOUSTON — A woman alleges she tripped and fell on uneven, cracked  concrete while at a car repair shop in Houston.

Beverly Jones filed a complaint Oct. 17 in Harris County District Court against EKO Group Inc., Fivos Kazilas Medical Center Chevron and Medical Center Car Care alleging premises liability and negligence.

According to her complaint, Jones was at the defendants' business located on Old Spanish Trail in Houston on Oct. 18, 2019. She claims she fell on uneven, cracked concrete as she entered the garage to discuss the repair of her vehicle and suffered injuries.

Jones alleges that the defendants failed to properly supervise their employees, inspect the premises and failed to maintain the common area in a reasonably safe condition. She also alleges the defendants failed to take reasonable measures to protect invitees such as herself from the risk of foreseeable harm and claims their negligence for permitting the premises to remain in a dangerous condition. Jones also claims she suffered mental anguish, impairment and incurred medical expenses as a result of the accident.

Jones seeks monetary relief, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Chadrick Henderson of The Henderson Law Group PLLC in Houston.
