GALVESTON — A Harris County woman is facing a breach of contract claim after allegedly refusing to repay a $50,000 car loan.
Ghyath Samman, M.D., filed a complaint July 11 in Galveston County District Court against Traci Bertrand alleging breach of contract.
According to Samman's complaint, he entered into a loan agreement with Bertrand on July 21, 2021, for $50,000 for the purchase of a vehicle. He alleges he provided Bertrand with a cashier's check and claims Bertrand has failed to repay the loan and is in breach of the agreement. He further claims he has made demand for repayment with Bertrand failing to repay the loan.
Samman seeks monetary relief of $250,000 or less, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Alton Todd of The Law Firm of Alton C. Todd in Friendswood.
