HOUSTON — A Houston gentleman's club patron alleges she suffered injuries after being pushed to the ground by the club's security officer.

Julie Cruz filed a complaint  Sept. 19 in Harris County District Court against Bunny's Gentleman's Club, 5826 Interests LTD alleging negligence.

Cruz claims in her suit that while at the Bunny's Gentleman's Club on Richmond Avenue in Houston on Sept. 30, 2020, she encountered an altercation with the club's male security guard near the women's restroom. Specifically, Cruz alleges that as she walked back to her section at the club, a security guard followed her, pushed her to the ground and caused her to suffer injuries to her head, knee, foot, hands and back.

She claims the club negligently hired, trained and supervised its employees. Cruz further claims the club violated local, state and federal laws and regulations. She alleges that she also suffered impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of earning capacity and incurred medical expenses.
