The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has named Morgan Lewis partner Su Jin Kim a 2023 Fellow and associates Shenae Bell and Lakeisha Andress as 2023 Pathfinders.
As a Fellow, Su Jin will participate in the yearlong program to provide training, as well as professional and relationship-building opportunities to midcareer lawyers.
Su Jin handles complex commercial litigation involving mergers and acquisitions, indemnification, and other contract disputes, as well as various business torts, including fraud and unfair trade practices. As a trial lawyer, she has experience at the federal, state, and appellate court levels and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Shenae and Lakeisha will participate in the 2023 LCLD Pathfinders program, which trains up-and-coming lawyers on key career development strategies, including leadership skills and how to build professional networks.
Shenae advises clients on a variety of complex financing matters, often managing key relationships with global institutional clients. She counsels companies on financing portfolios of residential and commercial mortgage loans, rental loans, leases, and other related assets. She also assists clients in developing structured products, effectively manage risk, achieve stability, and ensure capital preservation.
Lakeisha represents employers in a wide range of complex employment matters, such as conducting internal investigations concerning allegations of discrimination, harassment, and whistleblower claims. She also counsels employers with respect to employee policies, executive employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, separation agreements, diversity initiatives, reductions in force, large-scale corporate transactions, and general employment law compliance.
Founded in 2009, LCLD includes more than 400 chief legal officers and law firm managing partners committed to creating a diverse legal profession. Morgan Lewis has been a strategic partner of LCLD’s marquee programs for many years. These programs connect our diverse lawyers with outside counsel from more than 300 member organizations.
