Blank Rome LLP is pleased to share that our firm has been recognized as an Outstanding Diverse Organization and our firm's Director of Diversity & Inclusion, Krystal Studavent Ramsey, has been recognized as an Outstanding Head of Diversity in the Houston Business Journal's 2023 Diversity in Business Awards.

Blank Rome is one of 21 organizations named an Outstanding Diverse Organization honoree, which identifies organizations that have “contributed to harnessing diversity within their workforces and actively taken the lead to promote and champion the business case for diversity within the community or their industries.”

“We are proud to receive this honor, which recognizes our firm’s dedication and longstanding commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in our workplace, our local communities where our colleagues live and work, and throughout the legal industry,” said Grant Palmer, Blank Rome’s Chair and Managing Partner.

“Our Houston office is incredibly honored to be recognized for our ongoing dedication to promoting diversity initiatives and engagements within our local communities and legal industry as a whole,” added Susan Bickley, Partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Houston office. “We look forward to continuing to support this important mission in our great city—the most diverse in the nation—and beyond.”

Krystal Studavent Ramsey is one of 11 individuals named an Outstanding Head of Diversity honoree, which recognizes the achievements of executives who “displayed leadership, commitment, and motivation in driving the diversity and inclusion agenda in their organizations or the community at large.”

“I am honored to be recognized by the Houston Business Journal for doing work that I love in a city that I love,” said Krystal. “I am proud of what we have achieved as a firm so far and look forward to continued growth.”

Highlighting organizations and individuals who show an exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in Houston, all of the Diversity in Business Awards honorees will be honored on March 30, 2023, at a live event and featured in a special publication of the weekly edition of the Houston Business Journal on March 31, 2023.
