HOUSTON - A woman claiming a H-E-B employee dropped a heavy table on her is suing the grocery store company.

Seeking more than $1 million in damages, Barbara Ann Miles filed her suit on Dec. 6 in Harris County District Court.

According to her petition, Miles was shopping at a H-E-B when suddenly, and without warning, a “store employee dropped a heavy table” on her, injuring her.

She claims H-E-B negligently failed to train and supervise its employees, and is suing for her past and future medical expenses, impairment and lost wages.
