Griselda S. Cabrera has filed a lawsuit against Aldi Inc. in the District Court of Harris County, Texas under case number 2024-21737 on April 5, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that she suffered personal injuries due to negligence on the part of the defendant.

Cabrera, a resident of Harris County, Texas, asserts that she was seriously injured at an Aldi Grocery Store located at 13340 Tomball Parkway, Houston, Texas 77086 on August 15, 2022. She claims that she slipped and fell due to food product negligently left on the floor which created a dangerous condition. The defendant's registered agent for service is C T Corporation System located at 1999 Bryan Street, Suite 900, Dallas, Texas.

The plaintiff contends that Aldi Inc., who she believes to be the lessee of the premises and in control of it at the time of her accident, failed to ensure that the premises were safe and free from any dangerous conditions. She argues that this negligence directly led to her injuries which have resulted in medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical impairment, disfigurement and mental anguish.

Cabrera is seeking damages for her injuries as well as compensation for future suffering that may result from this incident. She also intends to conduct discovery pursuant to Rule 190 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
