Mynika Marks sues Bonifacio Perez-Montoya for alleged negligence leading to an accident

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, Mynika Marks has filed a lawsuit against Bonifacio Perez-Montoya. The case, bearing the ID 2024-21748 and filed on April 5, 2024, alleges negligence on the part of Perez-Montoya leading to an accident that caused bodily harm to Marks.

The incident in question occurred on May 18, 2009. Marks was driving northbound when a trailer attached to Perez-Montoya's vehicle detached and collided with her vehicle causing injuries. The defendant is accused of multiple instances of negligence including failing to secure the trailer properly, not maintaining a proper lookout, not paying attention while operating a motor vehicle, not having a valid Texas driver’s license and failing to operate a safe vehicle.
