Anabel Gutierrez sues Jeremiah Marquez for negligence causing personal injuries

Plaintiffs Anabel Gutierrez, Merys Camargo De Gutierrez, and Milena Camargo have filed a lawsuit against defendants Jeremiah Marquez and Guillermo Marquez in the District Court of Harris County, Texas. The case, with the court ID 2024-21 592 / Court: 2a 1, was filed on April 5th, 2024. The lawsuit alleges negligence, negligence per se, and/or gross negligence by the defendants leading to substantial personal injuries to the plaintiffs.

The incident took place in December 2028 when the plaintiffs were traveling northbound in the 1300 block of Price Plaza Drive in Harris County. Without warning, it is alleged that the defendant failed to control their vehicle's speed and direction resulting in a collision with the plaintiff's vehicle. As a result of this impact, the plaintiffs sustained serious injuries which required medical treatment.

The plaintiffs are seeking monetary relief over $250,000 but no more than $1,000,000 for damages incurred due to this incident. These damages include past and future medical expenses, physical pain and suffering, mental anguish and suffering, lost wages and loss of consortium as well as disfigurement and diminished value and loss of use of vehicle.
