James sues Damian for reckless driving causing physical injury

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, James Perez has filed a lawsuit against Damian Felipe Aguilar. The case, identified as 2024-23272 and dated April 12, 2024, pertains to an automobile collision that occurred in July 2022.

The plaintiff's attorney alleges that Aguilar struck Perez with his vehicle while Perez was walking prudently along Pine Vista Lane in Houston. The defendant is accused of failing to maintain a proper lookout, not yielding the right of way to a pedestrian, and driving recklessly among other charges. The accident resulted in severe injuries to Perez's head, neck, and back.

Perez is seeking monetary relief of $250,000 or less for damages including physical pain, mental anguish, lost wages, loss of earning capacity and medical expenses. The plaintiff also states that if he had any prior medical conditions at the time of the incident, they were not disabling but were aggravated due to the accident.
