Vincent Hubbard has filed a lawsuit against Marathon Oil Company, Marathon Petroleum Company, LP, and MPC Investment LLC D/B/A MPC Investment LLC of Delaware in the District Court of Harris County, Texas (Court Case ID: 2024-29580) on May 8, 2024. The case revolves around an incident that occurred at a petroleum facility in Texas City, Texas, where Hubbard alleges he sustained multiple injuries due to unsafe conditions on the premises.
On July 29, 2022, while working for RC Williams Enterprises at the facility operated by the defendants, Hubbard fell through an uncovered oil-water separator grating and suffered significant injuries. Clark Martin IV from Martin Law Firm PLLC, Hubbard claims that the defendants failed to provide adequate warnings or safety measures around the hazardous area.
