Christopher Taylor has filed a lawsuit against Blue Magma Residential, LLC in the District Court of Harris County, Texas (Court Case ID: 2024-29391) on May 8, 2024. The case involves allegations of negligence and premises liability after an incident at a rental property owned by the defendant.

According to the filing, Taylor was injured on April 8, 2024, when a ceiling collapsed at the Park at Cumberland Apartments in Houston. Despite multiple complaints about water accumulation causing defects in the ceiling, Blue Magma Residential failed to address the issue. Jonathan Webster from Daspit Law Firm represents Taylor in this case.

Taylor is seeking $250,000 for medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment and disfigurement, lost wages, and loss of earning capacity. He claims that Blue Magma Residential's negligence directly caused his injuries.

In his complaint, Taylor requests judgment against Blue Magma Residential for damages exceeding the court's minimum jurisdictional limits. He also seeks pre- and post-judgment interest and all court costs.
