After an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD), Bottom of the Cup Inc. – a café and coffee house based in Round Rock, Texas – will pay $14,286 in back wages to 15 employees after the employer missed payroll, violating the minimum wage and overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

She is being appropriately honored for her service to the country. Who will replace her and when is a political question that will no doubt be a great battle. But, before that we should all remember the good judge.

HOUSTON – Thanks to a recent appellate ruling, Orlando Sanchez can continue to pursue a $1 million lawsuit against a man who poured water on him during a press conference, even though the man offered to settle the suit for $200, “enough to cover (Sanchez’s) dry cleaning bill.”
