Jefferson County driver suing after collision, seeks $200K

A Jefferson County woman is suing over claims she was injured in a car collision. 



Ashley Hebert filed a lawsuit March 13 in the Jefferson County District Court against Kenneth Jay and Marie Jacqueline Lown, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, on May 9, 2012, Herbert was injured in a collision caused by Kenneth Lown, who was entrusted to drive Marie Lown's vehicle.

Herbert is seeking $200,000 in damages.

She is being represented in the case by attorney Adam Nichols of Reaud Morgan & Quinn LLP.
