HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges that she was not warned of a slippery condition in a hotel's parking lot that caused her to fall.

Leola McNulty filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in the Harris County District Court against Texas Inn LTD alleging premises liability and gross negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 21, 2016, she was walking to her room at defendant's motel with a maintenance worker when she slipped and fell on the wet, slimy ground near the parking area. She alleges she sustained serious injuries resulting in pain and suffering, mental anguish, lost wages and medical expenses as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Texas Inn LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to remedy the problem or warn of the risk of harm.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of $100,000 or less and such other and further relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Henry D. Drewinko in Houston.
